The ‘Gatsby Dance Show’ conjures up an image of the decadent era of the 1920s. When there were wild, elaborately staged parties with flamboyant dancers strutting around in braces and bow-ties, feathers and flappers, top hats and tails.
The classic Gatsby novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald has captivated millions of readers for nearly a century. The film by Baz Luhrmann is as much about love, romance and tragedy as it is about, dance, jazz and glamour. It has all the hallmarks of Hollywood-style mega entertainment in a lavish theatrical production, while being the ultimate in a celebration of emotions and material grandeur on an unprecedented scale.

FX Entertainment’s Gatsby Dance Show entwines the fun and fringing of the flappers from the Roaring Twenties, with the characteristic style and class of Fred Astaire. This performance is ideal for events like product launches, weddings, birthday celebrations and outdoor festivals.
We have our own talented singers and musicians who will revive the music of this resplendent Charleston era. Our dance troupe will be in full attire – glamorous Gatsby ladies dressed in vintage flapper style and sequin dresses with embroidered feather headbands. Whilst our suave and debonair Gatsby gentlemen will be garbed in button-up suits, fancy bow-ties and braces, top hats and elegant tails that will tap, tap, tap into hearts with such deft footwork that just watching them will leave your audience breathless!

FX Entertainment’s Gatsby-themed dance and party entertainment can be tailored around your event.
The artists can meet and greet your guests upon arrival – a perfect way to set the scene for the occasion. We can add a touch of cabaret with live vocals. Our vocalist will provide some humorous moments to engage the audience.
Alternatively, the show can start with a flash mob where our male dancers are disguised as stewards in stylish suits serving canapés and drinks. Unexpectedly, they break into a dance with our female dancers who suddenly emerge in their dazzling costumes.
With epic dance choreography, energetic Gatsby dancers would leave you exhilarated as they dance either onstage or around the tables where your audience may be seated.
Depending on the length of your show, we can incorporate costume changes for even more spectacular entertainment. Our Gatsby Dance Show costumes can be specially matched to any colour scheme or can be completely conservative as per your preference. Our costume designs are unique to our company, so we cannot be mistaken as guests.

CIGAR GIRLS
Our Cigar Girls are a unique way to welcome your guests in style by offering them chocolate cigars. Instead of cigars, they can hand out 20s headbands or flowers, or whatever else that may compliment your event or brand.
We have an array of showgirl costuming that is designed to enhance and maximise your event. The Cigar Girls presentation is not restricted to receiving guests – our girls can show up at a later time too, and they can even serve dessert.

GATSBY BRONZE
6-10 minute show. Great for those with a small to modest budget.
If you are looking for an event opener with a high impact, this show is ideal for you. It is also a great option as a quick show mid-event that will help liven up guests while jazzing up the event with some glitz and glamour. This is also a viable option if you have a small venue and just want to book a cast of 2 or 3 performers.
GATSBY SILVER SET SHOW
A complete 15-20 minute full set show with a vocalist.
This is our MOST popular show option. It is full of fabulous costume changes and guest interactions. We take our Bronze show and add live singing, more dance numbers and audience interaction to make your evening even more memorable. Ideal for any event space size and is a great entertainment option for guests looking to enjoy some humour and fun!
Gatsby Gold
Over a 2-hour or longer show, we include taking photos, meeting and greeting your guests and performing. We divide up our singing and dancing shows to be paced throughout the evening. This way, we believe we can offer you more entertainment spots over the course of the event, keeping guests continuously engaged and entertained.
1920s JAZZ BAR SINGER
The Sultry “Lola Von Soul”

Our 1920s Jazz Bar vocalist is perfect to set the mood for your dinner or special event. Beginning early in the evening or in-between the event at meal time, our beautiful, sultry Jazz bar lounge singer will perform either one or two sets, singing softly in the background to backing tracks.
